What does SWREG do?
SWREG, Inc. is owned by Digital River, a trusted publicly traded company in the United States. SWREG is a customer focused payment processing company with a cohesive team of professionals who strive to provide excellent service in ecommerce accounts.
SWREG provides a service that allows software and service companies to sell their product(s) online through our ecommerce payment processing system. We process the payment through our secure system and then the product or service is delivered.
What services does SWREG offer?
SWREG is a global e-commerce solution that is designed to make it easy for vendors selling software or services to start transacting online with our payment processing services. We offer multiple payment options, complete customization, flexibility, and penetration into international markets.
Why does SWREG appear on my bill or credit card statement?
Prior to 2007, the SWREG name appeared on all credit card statements, independent of product purchased or vendor. In 2007, SWREG added the ability for our vendors to provide their own company name or product name on credit card/billing statements in order to make it more recognizable to their customers. In addition, for all new SWREG vendors, we changed the billing defaults to reflect the vendor name in order to clearly show the specific information related to the purchase and minimize any customer confusion. However, we still have some vendors with the previous billing set up that have not migrated/switched to the new vendor-specific set up feature. Generally, most questions are related to credit card statements from these vendors using the billing set up before 2007. SWREG does provide a service to vendors to enable them to sell products to customers and provide vendor specific information such as product name on credit card and billing statements.
How do I verify charges on my bill?

What if I suspect a charge is fraud?
Generally, the first step we recommend going to our site to lookup the charge. You will be able to see the product that was ordered and if you recognize the charge. If you do not recognize the charge, please contact us by clicking here and reporting the issue. We will immediately issue a refund for the order. Next we recommend you contact your credit card company and report the issue so they can further handle any changes, questions, or concerns there might be. There can occasionally be instances of fraud; we want to make sure the charges are credited right away for you.
Do you ever suspend vendors?
We thoroughly review all our clients and their products before they can begin using our payment processing services. We will also review any client where we see a number of complaints. These are rare, but when they occur, we will suspend payment processing services to those vendors.
What if I did not receive my product?
Generally you will need to check with your vendor. If your download failed, please go to Cardquery. SWREG provides an extended download service to customers allowing access to your download for a longer duration than the initial purchase transaction.
What if I feel I purchased extended coverage by mistake?
The extended coverage does allow you to obtain your download at any time through SWREG. If you did purchase it by mistake please request a refund by submitting a support ticket.
